Attention Panther Parents:
I am writing you with a heavy heart to inform you that Ms. Martin will not be able to finish this school year with her 4th grade students as planned. Due to circumstances beyond her control, her last day with students was yesterday. It has been an honor to have Ms. Martin as a part of our staff. She has made a great impression on her students. We know that she will miss them greatly. We are saddened by her departure, but will think of her often and fondly as we wish her well in all of her future endeavors. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Ms. Johnson and Ms. Roberts (CCEC Early Intervention Teachers) are committed to making sure that learning for her students is not disrupted during these last few weeks of school. We can assure you that our 4th grades students will finish the school year Panther Strong!
Please contact Ms. Heard with any questions or concerns.

Congratulations to our November students of the month!

Next week our Kdg - 5th grade students will be taking our Winter MAP Growth assessment.
The MAP Growth assessment is administered three times per year – in Fall, Winter, and Spring. MAP Growth tracks student growth over time – wherever they are starting from and regardless of the grade they are in. The Fall assessment gathers baseline. The Winter assessment measures progress.
Please make sure make sure your child is well-rested and encourage them to do their best. This is their opportunity to demonstrate how much they have learned since the beginning of the school year.
Students that achieve their MAP Growth goal for the Winter assessment will be eligible to attend our MAP Growth celebration that will be held upon our return from Winter Break!
If you have any questions regarding the MAP Growth assessment, please contact your child's teacher or any CCEC administrator.

Happy Thanksgiving!
